According to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma
and Immunology, allergies are the sixth leading cause of chronic illness in the
U.S. More than 20 percent of all adults and children suffer from some allergy. There are many allergens that are not affected by UV, like dust and pollen, but the American-Lights® UV air cleaner can play a significant role in the Secondary Allergy Prevention, particularly where airborne microbial allergens are the cause of allergy symptoms.
